　　ISV Examination and Technical Support Center (hereafter referred to as the center) is founded by the company as a unit to examine and technically support the Red Flag Linux-based software products. This center is under direct management of the company and the company accepts its authenticating outcomes.

　　Any qualified Red Flag Linux ISV could apply for the examination and technical support.

　　The center owns well-skilled Linux technicians and can provide multiple testing platforms. Its technical personnel have a good command of the Linux technology and relevant testing standards, so that they can provide any ISV the examination and technical support in the shortest possible time.

Red Flag Linux ISV Examination and Technical Support Program

Since its release by Linus Torvalds in 1991, the Linux has become a popular trend in the information industry, affecting every field of the computer world.

The birth and development of Linux represent the emergence of a brandnew production and operation mode for the software industry, which will replace the old mode and provide all-round, consummate after sale services and technical support to the customers. The future of the Linux will be decided by not only the operation system itself, but also the relevant solutions, technical support and services.

Having a better understanding of this, the Red Flag Software puts forward the Linux ISV Examination and Technical Support Program. A lot of examination and technical support centers have been set up in many domestic cities. Objectives of the Program

ISV Process

It explains the procedures adopted by the Red Flag ISV Examination and Technical Support Center (hereafter referred to as the center) to examine the products and take an ISV as its member for the Red Flag ISV Examination and Technical Support Program (hereafter referred to as the member).

Procedures for an ISV to get the Membership

1. A ISV partner should get the Red Flag ISV Examination Program Membership Application Form (hereafter referred to as the application form), the Red Flag ISV Examination Agreement (hereafter referred to as the agreement) and the Agreement on Secret Information by means of Internet, faxes or mails.

2. The ISV partner will fill in and then submit the application form, the signed agreement and Agreement on Secret Information, the propaganda application form as well as the products to be tested (including the technical white paper book) by means of faxes or mails while sending the electronic files of the documents above to the isv@redflag-linux.com in the meantime.

3. The center will make some examinations within two days after receiving the application documents and contact the ISV partner to get prepared for the testing.

4. The center will help the qualified ISV partner pay the annual fees and complete the membership registration, and provide the software package.

5. The center will check the product-testing environment and then start the testing process.

a. The partner fills in the Red Flag ISV Product Examination Application Form and the Red Flag ISV Product Testing Plan Document.

b. The two parties will discuss and modify the Testing Plan.

c. The testing will be conducted in line with the agreed plan.

6. The center will finish the Red Flag ISV Product Testing Report and inform the partner the outcomes of this testing in written form.

7. As for the product that failed to pass through the testing, the center will make some suggestions in written form on how to achieve improvement and provide technical support.

8. As for the product that has passed through the testing, the center will award a Red Flag Linux Compatibility Certificate.

9. The partner who has achieved the certificate has to fill in the Proposal Document for Red Flag ISV Solutions and send it to the internal network of Red Flag for purpose of product sales.
